Live Music & Folk Dance — Orlando, February 27, 2027

Soaring folk harmonies, ringing balalaikas and thundering boots — live at the Slavic Festival in Casselberry, FL.

Big voices, fast feet, and the warm ring of a balalaika. On Saturday, February 27, 2027, the main stage of the Slavic Food & Cultural Festival comes alive with the music and dance of the Slavic world — from soaring folk choirs to whirling Cossack dancers.

Across the day you'll hear a traditional folk choir, balalaika and bayan (button accordion) ensembles, and the bright, layered harmonies that have carried Slavic folk song for generations. Performers take the stage in vivid folk costume — the kokoshnik and the embroidered vyshyvanka — for a celebration that's as much for the eyes as the ears.

Then the dancing begins: the high-flying leaps of the Cossack dance, the spirited Ukrainian hopak, and the gentle, circling Russian khorovod round-dances that invite the whole crowd to join hands. It's a living tradition, passed down through families and folk troupes and brought to one stage in Central Florida.
